Mr. Mueller's Welcome Page
Mr. Mueller began his tenure at Narbonne High School in 1996. Over the years he taught World History, US History, APUSH, Economics, Government, and several electives. He also served as a lead teacher, mentor teacher, member of the School Site Council, Leadership Council, and UTLA Rep. He was an exam scorer and developer for the Golden State Exam early in his career, and a reader for the College Board in AP US History until he made the move into the Magnet. In 2012 Mr. Mueller became the Magnet Coordinator for the STEAM Magnet and now the BETA Magnet as well.
Mr. Mueller holds Bachelor's degrees in International Relations and Social Science from CSU Chico, and a Master's degree in American Studies from Pepperdine University. Upon receiving his Teaching Credential in 1992, he began his career in the Marysville School District, teaching Social Studies and ESL.
In his free time he enjoys traveling anywhere he can! He spends some of his long weekends at the Colorado River, where he can be found on the water in the hot months, and off-roading in the cooler ones. He is a SoCal native, growing up in and around Orange County and spent one year in Brazil as an exchange student. He speaks some Portuguese and Spanish, although he claims it is like driving down a dirt road: it's bumpy and slow, but he gets there!
