School of Business and Technology

 Philosophy

The School of Business and Technology provides a complete academic  program.  The ability to read, write, speak, and compute will be emphasized.  Our goal is to provide business and technical skills for students and to promote mastery in English  and math.  The business and technical education curriculum is designed for students interested in working ethically, cooperatively, and innovatively in a competitive world.

 Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a beginning and to expand skill development in business and technical occupations.  Major areas of concentration include accounting, computer applications, computer aided drafting and design, and woodworking.  Instruction includes the fields of mathematics, science, language arts, social studies, physical education, military sciences, and world languages.

Business and technical education are  part of the total high school experience, which brings together theory and practice. Problem solving, good judgment, responsible citizenship, and attendance will all be emphasized.
